Birth rarely unfolds exactly like we hope and plan. Whether your birth was a beautiful, unexpected, or traumatic experience, it will impact your transition to recovery, breastfeeding, and parenting. Our physical, emotional, and nutritional needs are unique during lactation and in the months and years postpartum.
Processing your birth experience with someone who has been where you are will help you flourish emotionally and physically. What worked nutritionally in pregnancy will have to be modified postpartum to ensure rest, recovery, and repletion. While we may commonly hear about anxiety and depression, sleep issues, hair loss, exhaustion, or digestive issues associated with postpartum, this does not mean these are "normal" and you must survive rather than thrive as a new mother. This consultation focuses on reflection, self-care strategies, and nourishing foods/recipes that you can replicate for improved wellness and energy throughout your postpartum journey!
